Localizing header and search result images
Updated
Creative assets can be set per language, and the official guidance is to localize any text in them for every language your app supports. Someone searching in German should see a German headline.
What changes per language
- The headline and any other text. Keep it a short phrase that adds to the image rather than describing it.
- Screenshots inside the image, if your app's interface is localized.
- The layout, when a translation is much longer, or when the script reads right to left.
Plan for longer text
Translations are often longer than English, and the safe area doesn't grow. Leave room in your design, and check every language for text that leaves the safe area or gets too small to read.
Making many languages at once
In storeheader, add your languages, type or paste each translation, and download every language and size in one ZIP. It warns you when a text overflows its box.
Questions
- Do I have to localize creative assets?

- How do I check each language before release?
- Use the Preview tool in App Store Connect. It shows your assets across iPhone, iPad, orientations and languages.
